Haymarket Medical Education (HME) has achieved remarkable growth across key educational engagement metrics over the past two years, reflecting its dedication to advancing Hematology and Oncology medical education.
By the Numbers
Empowering Specialists to Enhance Patient Care
HME is dedicated to enhancing patient care by offering high-quality continuing education (CE) programs that empower HCPs to stay current on emerging treatments and advancements. Our curated offerings enable specialists to navigate the rapidly evolving landscapes of Hematology and Oncology, with the goal of driving better patient outcomes. HME ensures HCPs have access to timely, relevant educational content. This collaborative approach strengthens our programs’ impact, supporting specialists in delivering optimal care to their patients.
Clinical Expertise and Scientific Rigor, Driving Excellence in Education
At the core of HME’s success is our Medical Affairs team, comprising MDs, PhDs, and PharmDs who bring a wealth of clinical expertise and scientific rigor to every initiative. This team collaborates seamlessly with departments such as Program Management, Art and Design, Production, Video and Distribution Services, Marketing, Accreditation, and Outcomes Assessment and Evaluation. HME’s VP of Medical Affairs is a recognized leader in Hematology and Oncology, with nearly three decades of experience in the field, including holding key positions serving medical education and scientific strategy. Together, we deliver results-oriented programs designed to elevate the standard of care and drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
Innovative Educational Design Aligned With the Science of Learning
HME sets a high standard in CE design by identifying educational gaps and creating engaging content that follows adult learning principles. Our formats—including interactive modules and game-based experiences—are led by expert faculty and tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring that knowledge gained is readily applied in clinical practice and has a real-world impact on patient care.
Driving Learner Retention and Long-Term Engagement via myCME
myCME’s Hematology/Oncology offerings have achieved a remarkable 90% retention rate in the Outcomes Standardization Project (OSP) from January 1, 2022, to January 31, 2024, showcasing myCME’s effectiveness in maintaining learner engagement and reinforcing its position as a leading CE platform.
*While retention rates for activities hosted on myCME are exceptionally high, activities that direct users to external third-party websites or involve more extensive user journeys may experience lower retention rates.
Targeted Impact Through Haymarket Medical Network and Specialty-Based Institutes
Through the Haymarket Medical Network (HMN), HME effectively reaches targeted HCPs, including hematologists and oncologists, via a robust database of 2.3 million HCPs. HMN’s data-driven approach uses behavioral data, claims data, and audience intelligence to connect relevant audiences with myCME activities. This strategic targeting provides specialists with CE opportunities directly aligned with their field, amplifying educational outreach.
Building on this foundation, HMN and HME launched six specialty-based Institutes in late 2022, including the Hematology Advisor Institute, Oncology Nurse Advisor Institute, and Cancer Therapy Advisor Institute, which directly align with HME’s focus in Hematology and Oncology. These Institutes combine exclusive CE courses, specialty coverage, and practice resources with trusted Haymarket brands like Hematology Advisor, Cancer Therapy Advisor and Cancer Therapy Advisor. The Institutes empower specialists to stay informed, improve clinical practice, and enhance patient outcomes, solidifying Haymarket’s role as a leader in accessible, high-quality education.
