HME’s submission was presented on-site at Bristol Myers Squibb’s Poster Gallery
Haymarket Medical Education (HME) was thrilled to have submitted a poster titled, “Reaching and Teaching Community-Based Clinicians to Improve Outcomes in CAR-T cell therapy for DLBCL: A Self-Sustaining Group Training Experience,” which was proudly selected by Bristol Myers Squibb’s Independent Medical Education (IME) team as Best-in-Class Spotlight.
The Spotlight is a substantial achievement, highlighting the efforts and dedication of the team at HME. The recognized poster, produced in collaboration with Gather-ed and RealCME, was chosen from over eighty submissions to be one of seven highlighted. As part of this honor, Angie Ladas, HME’s VP of Educational Strategy, presented the poster at the in-person Poster Gallery session held at Bristol Myers Squibb on May 9, 2024.

The poster offered insight into a small-group curriculum that provided an immersive social and personalized learning environment conducive to real-world change, recruiting nine groups of clinicians from a variety of practice settings led by DLBCL-experienced physicians. It sought to select appropriate CD19-directed CAR T-cell therapeutic options for patients with relapsed or refractory DLBCL. The program goals for the activity included:
- Interpret clinical efficacy and safety data surrounding current and emerging CD19-directed CAR T-cell therapies for relapsed or refractory DLBCL.
- Select appropriate CD19-directed CAR T-cell therapeutic options for patients with relapsed or refractory DLBCL.
Presenting a poster on this activity not only underscored HME’s dedication to advancing continuing medical education, but also served as a vital platform for sharing invaluable insights and best practices with peers and industry professionals. This opportunity exemplified our commitment to fostering collaboration and driving meaningful change within the medical community.
