NEW YORK-Haymarket Medical Education (HME)—accredited provider of continuing medical education—announces it will host a satellite continuing medical education (CME) symposium supported by an educational grant from Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, From Mechanisms to Management: How Scientific Breakthroughs are Transforming Our Future in Sleep Medicine, on June 5 at SLEEP 2024, continuing the Haymarket Medical Network (HMN) commitment to promoting sleep-wake medicine education through the launch of the Sleep-Wake Advisor Institute and the inaugural Sleep-Wake Advisor Summit.
This champagne breakfast symposium will be a toast to the incredible developments in sleep-wake medicine seen at SLEEP 2024 and will showcase how scientific breakthroughs in sleep medicine are transforming the understanding of sleep physiology and disease pathophysiology, leading to novel diagnostic and treatment options.

To provide additional CME opportunities for attendees of SLEEP 2024, HME will also host Matching Patients With the Right Treatment: A Patients Speak Activity on June 3, supported by Avadel CNS Pharmaceuticals and Harmony Biosciences. This interactive dinner symposium will guide attendees through personalized management of real people with narcolepsy and includes two people with narcolepsy as faculty. At this one-day live virtual CME meeting, world-renowned faculty will join chairs Drs. Morse and Malhotra to discuss updates from SLEEP 2024 and how they can be integrated into practice, participate in interactive educational sessions, engage in dialogue with the chairs and faculty, meet the advocacy partners that support people with sleep-wake disorders, and more.
