Haymarket Medical Education (HME) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Our rigorous processes and adherence to ACCME regulations ensure that our activities deliver education intended to improve competence and performance.
For more than 20 years, HME has produced top-quality, independent continuing education for physicians, physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs), pharmacists, nurses, and other health care professionals. We will apply the hard-won lessons we've learned to each of your activities.
Thousands of clinicians worldwide visit myCME, HME's distribution platform, each day to find high-quality, practice-changing education. The website targets and delivers your activities to the precise intended audience, reducing clutter, maximizing exposure, and increasing engagement.
We live by our mission statement, to the benefit of our customers: Through effective collaboration with key educational stakeholders, HME and myCME produce, certify, and deliver dynamic, measurable educational interventions designed to help physicians and other health care professionals provide the best possible care for their patients.
Our Medical Affairs team ensures that CME activities address areas of high-priority needs for clinicians. Our expertise in the ACCME's Criteria for Accreditation, the regulatory environment of CME, and measuring activity outcomes gives us the foundation to design and certify education that effectively changes behaviors.
Lynne Callea, CHCP, VP and Director of CME Program Development, and the program management team in concert with Medical Affairs produce impactful education either directly or in collaboration with our partner stakeholders in CME.
HME has extensive experience translating evidence-based data and best clinical practices into educational activities and practical information across a broad range of therapeutic areas and formats (live events, monographs, and webcasts). When you collaborate with HME, you leverage our 20 years of award-winning expertise in developing original content for practicing clinicians worldwide.
HME manages a wide variety of educational formats, such as live events, webcasts, workshops, roundtables, symposia, monographs, podcasts, newsletters, and journal supplements. HME distributes all resulting enduring Internet-based materials via myCME, providing extended reach for your educational activities.
HME designs educational activities that effect change in competence and performance. Each myCME activity can include follow-up Outcomes Surveys that directly measure the education's longitudinal impact. We have also developed Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives, often in collaboration with academic partners, that strengthen clinicians' skills and achieve a change in overall patient health.
Haymarket Medical Education (HME) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) partnered together to develop a comprehensive sequential, multi-year, blended learning CME/CNE initiative, RightSTEPS: Optimizing Medical Therapy for Chronic Heart Failure. As of October 19, 2017, more than 9,000 clinicians had participated in one or more of the educational activities.
